Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Christopher shows off insane weight loss in new photos

Christopher Schwarzenegger is showing off his dramatic weight loss.

The son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, 28, stepped out wearing a white tank top and jeans for an afternoon at a pumpkin patch in Brentwood, Calif. on Monday.

The actor’s sister Katherine, her husband Chris Pratt, and their daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, were also at the festivities. The couple’s 11-month-old son, Ford, was not photographed.

At one point, Christopher, who also appeared to be sipping on a protein shake, was seen sharing a kiss with his girlfriend.

The star, whose mom is Maria Shriver, revealed earlier this year that he had lost 30 pounds.

He “gave up” one item in particular for Lent, which helped.

“I was like, ‘Well, if I’m giving up bread, I might as well just take the opportunity and I’m a good Catholic boy, so I’m not going to break it.’ And so I lost 30 pounds just through that,” Christopher said in May.

“I started in 2019 when I was living in Australia. I was on this big trip. I made it a big [deal] like, ‘Oh, I’m going to go out and do all this stuff in Australia,’ and I just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities,” he continued. “I was like, ‘I want to go skydiving.’ And my friends were like, ‘Yeah, no shot.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I can’t skydive.’”

“It was a big process,” the producer added.

It was a long journey for Christopher, who tried to lose weight for many years.

“I was doing meal delivery things in high school, and I remember feeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school,” he recounted. “It’s not an overnight thing, but it took a lot of trial and error.”

Along with Christopher and Katherine, 35, Arnold, 78, and Shriver, 69, also share kids Christina, 34, and Patrick, 32.

The pair was married from 1986 until 2021. During their union, Arnold fathered his son Joseph Baena with their family’s housekeeper, Mildred Baena.

In 2011, Shriver filed for divorce from Arnold following 25 years of marriage after finding out about his affair. Just this year, the author opened up about that “brutal” moment.

In her memoir, “I Am Maria,” published in April, Shriver detailed that the news of Arnold’s infidelity came after she had just lost both her mom and dad.

“I was consumed with grief and wracked with confusion, anger, fear, sadness and anxiety,” she expressed. “I was unsure now of who I was, where I belonged. Honestly, it was brutal, and I was terrified.”

Shriver recounted, “As I sat on my hotel room floor in the dark, alone with tears streaming down my face, I thought to myself: Maria, this doesn’t have to be the end of you.”

“I’ve also had to come face to face with other misguided beliefs,’ she concluded, “about aging, about being alone. I used to believe that if you didn’t have a partner, you must be unworthy and unlovable. I’ve learned that nothing could be further from the truth.”

Meanwhile, much like his brother Christopher, Joseph, 28, also struggled with his weight growing up.

“People sometimes forget that I used to be chubby in high school,” the bodybuilder captioned his July Instagram post, which has him reflecting on his weight loss journey. “I got cut from my basketball and soccer team because I couldn’t keep up with the other kids. Swim didn’t have tryouts thankfully and completely changed my life forever.”

The was his “introduction to fitness and training.”

The “Dancing With the Stars” alum added that he is grateful he discovered swimming early on.

“Everyone starts somewhere,” Joseph mused, “but starting is the most important.”

In Oct. 2023, the athlete revealed he hit a major fitness milestone, completing his first triathlon.

“What a great experience it was to compete with such amazing athletes,” he gushed on Instagram. “With my birthday coming up I wanted to challenge myself in a new way, I feel like I did really well and I’m proud of myself for going the distance. I truly believe that if you have muscles, you should be able to use them.”

That same year, a source told Page Six that while Joseph has a good relationship with his bodybuilder dad, he isn’t close with his siblings.

“The other kids don’t love Joe,” the insider alleged.

“It’s a shame as he’s a really good kid, and Arnold has always treated him like all his other kids — very fairly. But for whatever reason, the other kids take [the affair] out on Joe.”
