This year’s NYC mayoral election campaign has raised questions about the city’s future amid clashing crises: Affordability, antisemitism, immigration, housing, an epidemic of untreated mental illness.
The race is being fought in ads and press conferences, but also in the streets and neighborhoods of the city, where those who live and work here have a critical decision to make as they choose from among a field that includes the Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, independents Andrew Cuomo and Eric Adams and the GOP’s Curtis Sliwa.
In the end it is the voices of those who will make the decision — including yours — that matter the most.
