We’re nearing the end of ‘The Long Goodbye.’
The Eagles began their nationwide farewell ‘Long Goodbye Tour’ in September 2023 that they then teased would stretch all the way into 2025.
Now, one year after that proposed expiration date, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have only ten concerts remaining on their record-breaking Las Vegas Sphere residency, which kicked off on Sept. 20, 2024.
Their final set of shows will take place from January through March 28.
And, if you’d like to see the group with the best-selling record in U.S. histopry live, tickets are available for each and every remaining gig.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets for any one show across the primary and secondary market was $396.33 including fees on Ticketmaster.
In the event you’re yet to catch a Sin City gig of theirs, the legendary group typically brings 20 songs to the one-of-a-kind, visually spectacular, wraparound, immersive stage at all shows.
That includes bona fide mega hits (“Hotel California,” “Life In The Fast Line,” “Take It Easy,” “Desperado”), slightly deeper cuts (“I Can’t Tell You Why,” “Seven Bridges Road,” “Best of My Love”) and Don Henley and Joe Walsh solo tracks (“The Boys of Summer,” “The End of the Innoncence,” “Rocky Mountain Way,” “Life’s Been Good”), according to Set List FM.
However, should you go, be aware that Walsh wasn’t at last weekend’s set of performances after he came down with the flu. The Mercury News reported that bandmate Vince Gill filled in for him on vocals.
“He was missed — especially vocally — since Gill’s angelic voice does not, in any way shape or form, resemble Walsh’s charmingly out-of-pitch squawk-talk style,” they wrote. “And there were times during the guitar parts that it felt like Walsh might have pushed things a little further — or, at least, a little different — than his studio-session-ready counterparts.”
Only time will tell when he returns but don’t let that deter you from seeing one of the greatest music outfits of all time live.

The Eagles band members
When you’ve been “taking it to the limit” since 1971, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup in your group.
Still, after 50+ years together, 78-year-old founding member Don Henley (drums, vocals, also known for the timeless ’80s smash “Boys of Summer), continues to head the group.
At all Sphere dates, he’s joined by 78-year-old Joe Walsh (who also fronted The James Gang), 78-year-old Timothy B. Schmit (bassist and vocalist who played with Poco), 22-time Grammy winner Vince Gill and the late Glenn Frey’s 30-something son, Deacon.
Past members that are no longer with the band include Frey (who passed away in 2016) and Randy Meisner (he left this mortal coil in 2023). Bernie Leadon is still alive but hasn’t played with the band since 2016. As for guitarist Don Felder, he recently toured with Styx and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, although The Post reported he suffered a medical emergency at a show in 2025.
Over the course of the group’s half-century together, The Eagles have received six Grammy Awards, performed over 1,000 concerts, and sold over 150 million albums. Yeah, they really did “Take It To The Limit.”
