Beyoncé ‘putting on brave face’ amid Jay-Z rape allegations

Beyoncé is “putting on a brave face” for her family amid allegations her husband, Jay-Z, participated in raping a girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs more than 20 years ago.

The lawsuit, originally filed in October, was amended Sunday to name Jay-Z as a previously unidentified celebrity accused of raping the 13-year-old after the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2000.

Jay-Z promptly denied the “heinous” allegations in a public statement, as well as to his wife, who sources say believe that he’s innocent.

“His name has been pulled into the Diddy drama from the beginning, so they knew something was going to happen. They just didn’t know when,” an insider told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “Jay-Z professed to Beyoncé that he’s innocent and it’s a total money grab.”

Separate sources said the record-breaking Grammy winner “does not believe a word” of the allegations, and that she’s focused on “putting on a brave face” for daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir.

On Monday, the couple stepped out with Blue Ivy for the L.A. premiere of “Mufasa,” shocking many who assumed the duo would be lying low.

“She won’t let this bring her image down,” said one of insiders, noting that Beyoncé remains “committed” to her scheduled Christmas Day NFL halftime show and her “Cowboy Carter Christmas” special on Netflix.

Diddy meanwhile remains behind bars at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, where he’s been awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges following his arrest in September.
