Hours after making history at the 67th Grammy Awards, Beyoncé rolled out plans for her Cowboy Carter Tour. The 22-date trek spanning eight cities will kick off in April and has four stops scheduled at MetLife Stadium in late May.
The now 35-time Grammy winner teased the tour announcement ahead of Sunday’s night ceremony, where she led the pack with 11 nominations.
For the country music-themed “Cowboy Carter,” Beyoncé finally took home the Album of the Year prize after four previous nominations in the category. Already the most-nominated artist in the show’s history (with 99 nods), the 43-year-old also became the first Black singer to win the Best Country Album award.
Beginning on April 28 in Los Angeles, the tour includes multiple U.S. cities with stops abroad in London and Paris before closing out the circuit back home. A string of dates will take place during Memorial Day weekend at the East Rutherford, New Jersey home of the New York Giants starting May 24 and continuing through May 28.
General tickets go on sale Feb. 14 with pre-sale options available beginning Feb. 11 on Beyoncé.com.
The Cowboy Carter tour will be the first time she will showcase the acclaimed album in a “full concert setting.”
On Christmas Day, Beyoncé offered fans a sampling of what was to come when she performed a 13-minute halftime performance — dubbed “Beyoncé Bowl” — during Netflix’s first NFL 2024 Christmas Gameday at NRG Stadium in her hometown of Houston.
Beyoncé‘s eighth studio album, officially titled “Act II: Cowboy Carter,” was released in March 2024 and features collaborations with Dolly Parton, Shaboozey, Tanner Adell, Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson and Linda Martell.
Upon its first week out, the 27-track set hit the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart, while also making history to hit No. 1 on the country charts.
