The one where there’s a mother-daughter vacation.
Courteney Cox and Coco Arquette hit the beach in Australia on Wednesday. Cox, 60, showed off her lean physique in a black bikini.
Cox and Arquette, 20, who sported a printed orange and brown two-piece, were spotted swimming in the water, lying on the beach and chatting with one another in the photos obtained by the Post.
The day before, Cox donned jeans, a white sweatshirt and a black cross-body bag as they started their trip Down Under following their long flight. Arquette, meanwhile, kept it casual in grey sweatpants, a white cropped tee and a grey hoodie.
Cox tied the knot with ex-husband David Arquette in 1999 before welcoming their daughter in 2004. The exes then split in 2013.
In October, the “Friends” star got candid on her relationship with her only child.
“It’s weird because people get upset the first year your kid goes off to school and I was like, ‘What’s the big deal? She doesn’t talk to me anyway, she’s always in her room,” Cox revealed at the Inc. 5000 45th Annual Conference & Gala at the time.
“Then she comes home after her first year in college and she was all mature and talking more,” she confessed.
“And I mean, she’s incredible. She’s a really special, smart, funny kid,” Cox added. “But then I was like, I don’t want you to go back to college. The second year was harder for me.”
The college student plans on following in her parents’ Hollywood footsteps.
“She’s an incredible singer and she loves acting,” David told Entertainment Tonight in 2021. “It’s getting more serious now and you know the performances even are becoming more, you know, polished. So it’s exciting to see.”
However, one thing Arquette can’t replicate is her mom’s famous ’90s outfits — well, at least not the originals.
“She didn’t actually save anything for me from the ’90s. It’s actually very rude,” the young star teased in an August Instagram video. “Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, those outfits.’ No, I don’t have them.”
Cox shared that she’s also learned how to navigate the sometimes tricky mother daughter dynamics.
“We fight,” the “Scream” star told People in 2022. “I’ve learned that boundaries are important and to keep them because I know it makes her feel safe. But I’m not always good with boundaries. I get worn out. You’ve got to pick your battles and decide what is important.”
According to Cox, it has strengthened their bond.
“I love you, but of course we’re gonna get in fights,” Arquette explained to Cox during a joint interview with the outlet in 2018. “But we’re very close. Very close. I love you a lot.”
