Bill de Blasio throws jilted ex-gal pal Nomiki Konst a bone by endorsing her client

Lefty love machine Bill de Blasio is throwing his jilted ex-gal pal Nomiki Konst a bone — endorsing her client Michael Blake’s insurgent bid to topple Bronx Rep. Ritchie Torres (D-NY).

Konst, a 41-year-old progressive activist — whom sources exclusively told The Post de Blasio abandoned for a fling with South Tucson Mayor Roxanna Valenzuela — is working as a strategist and spokesperson for Blake’s campaign taking on Torres in next June’s Democratic primary.

De Blasio, 64, an ally of Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, claims that the sitting Bronx congressman is out of step with the party.

“New Yorkers and all Americans are turning against the political elite. They are sick of politicians who put donors and power brokers ahead of the people of our neighborhoods,” de Blasio said in a statement Monday released by the Blake campaign.

“Michael Blake is rooted in The Bronx and has concrete plans to address the cost of living and affordability crisis facing Bronxites.”

Torres, a staunch ally of Israel, did not endorse Mamdani in the Nov. 4 general election after the socialist Queens assemblyman won the Democratic primary for mayor against ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Torres endorsed Cuomo in the primary.

De Blasio, who sparred with Cuomo when he was mayor and the latter was governor, said Torres supported the three-term Democrat’s comeback bid “energetically, no matter his continual corrupt and sexist behavior.”

“Michael Blake endorsed Zohran Mamdani for Mayor when Ritchie Torres did not and on day one, Michael Blake will be a respected partner in the halls of Washington to City Hall and to Albany, bringing real solutions to The Bronx,” de Blasio’s statement said.

Cuomo resigned as governor in 2021 amid sexual misconduct accusations from employees and others that he denies.

Blake, a former Bronx assemblyman, praised de Blasio’s tenure as mayor for focusing on affordability.

“Mayor de Blasio and I proudly supported Mayor-Elect Mamdani who shared in that vision, unlike Ritchie Torres who focuses on his own interests,” said Blake.

Blake and others on the left have criticized Torres’ backing of Israel and support from the American Israel Israel Public Affairs Committee.

But de Blasio was a staunch supporter of Israel when he was mayor, even defending AIPAC in 2019 when others progressives argued the pro-Israel lobbying group was too far to the right.

De Blasio and Konst declined to comment when asked if the two had discussed his endorsement of Blake.

He mocked the ex-mayor’s short-lived, ill-fated run for president.

“No, he is not qualified to run for president. He should not be running for president,” Blake said in 2019.

“Michael Blake is not interested in the Bronx; he’s only interested in using it to run for office for the fifth time, and the result will be the same as before: another loss,” said Torres campaign spokesman Benny Stanislawski.

“There’s a reason Bronx voters trust Ritchie Torres. He’s been their champion in Congress, laser-focused on issues like public housing and affordability while standing up to Donald Trump. That’s why he’s going to win again next year.”
