Billy Ray Cyrus is giving daughters Miley and Noah their flowers.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, 63, congratulated them on their new music in an emotional Instagram post Tuesday — amid the alleged rift in the famous family.
“Holy s–t. I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one!” he wrote. “You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters @mileycyrus @noahcyrus.”
“Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level,” Billy Ray continued of his daughters. “Congratulations girls! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you.”
The country star added that he’s “actually crying” while writing the post. “Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy ! 😊 Love Dad,” he concluded.
Billy Ray’s tribute included a photo of Miley, 32, from the promo of her upcoming album “Something Beautiful,” out May 30, and a still from Noah’s “Don’t Put It All on Me” music video that dropped last week. Billy Ray tagged both of his daughters in his post.
Billy Ray shares Miley, Noah and son Braison, 30, with ex-wife Tish Cyrus. He adopted Tish’s kids Brandi, 37, and Trace, 36, when the former couple were together. Billy Ray also has a son Christopher, 32, with ex-girlfriend Kristin Luckey.
After Billy Ray’s disastrous performance at Donald Trump’s inauguration event in January, Trace wrote an open letter where he said the family is “genuinely worried” about their famous father.
“Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away,” Trace wrote, referring to his sisters and mom. “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her.”
Billy Ray later broke his silence following his son’s public plea, saying on Instagram that he’s “praying” for his loved ones.
Miley hasn’t commented on the latest drama with Billy Ray, but sources told Page Six that the “Flowers” singer has “no interest” in fixing her broken relationship with her dad.
Miley previously talked about her estrangement from Billy Ray on David Letterman’s Netflix series in 2024, saying that she “inherited the narcissism from my father.” She also praised her mom Tish, 57, as her “hero.”
Noah, meanwhile, showed support for Billy Ray when he released his new song “Lost” in February, hinting that she’s not actually estranged from her father.
“So proud of my Dad’s INCREDIBLE new single LOST with my good, old friend [Sam Tinnesz] and [Tommee Profitt],” Noah wrote on her Instagram Stories.
