Their day in court has been delayed.
Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s sexual harassment trial has been postponed by more than two months.
While the civil trial was initially set to kick off in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on March 9, 2026, Judge Lewis J. Liman announced during a post-discovery hearing on Tuesday that the trial will now begin on May 18, 2026.
“As important as this case is…criminal trials take precedent,” the judge explained, per People.
Liman was also said to have ordered the warring “It Ends With Us” co-stars to explore a potential settlement in the ongoing civil matter, according to the outlet.
The next scheduled hearing for oral arguments on summary judgment is scheduled for Jan. 22.
The Post has reached out to Lively and Baldoni’s reps for comment.
Lively and Baldoni’s ugly legal battle kicked off when the “Another Simple Favor” actress, 38, accused the “Five Feet Apart” director, 41, of sexual harassment and retaliation in December 2024.
Baldoni denied the allegations and countersued the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, in January for $400 million. However, that lawsuit was later dismissed by a judge.
The “Age of Adaline” star has since claimed that she suffered $161 million in damages from the alleged smear campaign Baldoni launched against her during the release of “It Ends With Us.”
Unsealed documents submitted in July and obtained by The Post last month saw Lively’s attorneys claim that she lost at least $56.2 million in past and future earnings from acting, speaking engagements and endorsements.
Lively further claimed that she lost $49 million from her Blake Brown haircare line, $22 million from her Betty Buzz/Betty Booze beverage company and at least $34 million in reputational harm.
The “Green Lantern” actress is reportedly seeking at least three times the $161 million amount in punitive damages.
Elsewhere in the documents, Lively named a long list of celebrities as potential witnesses in her ongoing lawsuit against Baldoni – including Reynolds, Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman and “It Ends With Us” author Colleen Hoover.
However, an insider claimed that the names included in the lengthy list “are not witnesses” in the case.
“This is not a new list. This was for discovery,” a source told People in November. “It’s a basic part of the process as you head into discovery.”
More recently, Baldoni alleged in a legal filing that Lively went rogue on the set of “It Ends with Us” and improvised a kiss that wasn’t in the script.
The clip in question showed the pair sharing a quick smooch during a scene that Baldoni’s team claimed Lively added herself, according to the filing submitted by the director’s Wayfarer production company last month.
Footage of the alleged incident was said to have been filmed in May 2023 and lasted just over a minute.
It showed Lively’s “It Ends With Us” character Lily Bloom stumbling upon Baldoni’s Ryle Kincaid as he works in a hospital.
Lily apologizes for the interruption and plants a brief kiss on his lips – but on her way out, she casually tells him that she “happen[s] to love him too.”
Baldoni’s character looks around in surprise before throwing his cellphone, breaking character and saying, “Alright, cut.”
