The slain bodies of Hollywood legend Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle, were found in their Los Angeles home by their daughter, according to a new report.
Romy Reiner found her parents stabbed to death on Sunday afternoon, sources told People Magazine, confirming that the couple’s troubled son Nick Reiner has been identified as a person of interest.
LAPD Deputy Chief Alan Hamilton told reporters that no arrests had been made, but investigators were interviewing family members.
“We’re going to try to speak to every family member that we can to get to the facts of this investigation,” he said.
Officials did not initially identify the Reiners as the pair found dead, but the harrowing news was confirmed by their family.
“It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner. We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time,” Reiner’s family said in a statement.
