Boy George reacts to Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce

Boy George is over the moon that Taylor Swift has found her forever love story with Travis Kelce.

“Listen, he’s gorgeous,” the “Karma Chameleon” singer, 64, exclusively told The Post about Swift’s future husband. “I mean, I spotted him long before she met him.”

George, who is a huge believer in horoscopes, admitted he “Googled” Kelce and discovered he’s a Libra, which he feels is “perfect” for newly-engaged Swift.

“I think it’s lovely,” he explained. “She’s a very successful woman. But, you know, love really seals everything, doesn’t it? Forget about hits. Obviously, she’s done all that.”

“I approve!” George said of their engagement, taking a moment to fangirl over the news that’s sweeping the nation while promoting Apple TV’s show “KPopped,” hosted by Megan Thee Stallion, “Gangnam Style” singer Psy and actress SJ Soon.

The English singer-songwriter first met Swift in August 2014 when they took a “super selfie” before their respective appearances on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”

“Meeting Taylor Swift was a bit like meeting The Queen! It was funny! I’m just so South East London!” George wrote on X, formerly Twitter, after their backstage interaction.

He also offered up an opinion on her breakup with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.

“It’s because he kissed that security guard!” the Culture Club frontman posted in June 2023, referencing Healy picking a security guard out of the crowd to kiss while performing at the NorthSide Festival in Denmark.

The “Life of a Showgirl” singer and Kelce started dating shortly after her split from Healy, going public with their romance in September 2023.

Swift announced their engagement after nearly two years of dating on Tuesday in an Instagram post, which included a photo of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end on one knee, popping the question in a beautiful garden.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” she captioned the sweet snaps.

Insiders told Page Six that “The Tortured Poets Department” singer and the NFL star will have a “private” and “casual” wedding, not some over-the-top affair.

Babies are also allegedly on the horizon for the couple, with Us Weekly sources spilling the engaged pair will “not wait too long” to start their “dream” family.

As for George, he’s been busy starring alongside several superstars on Apple TV’s latest competition singing show.

The series teams Western artists with South Korean idols, and together they perform remixed K-pop versions of their already existing hits against another team in front of a live studio audience in Seoul.

George enjoyed every minute of working on the show, even if he had to go up against Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from TLC.

“I wasn’t really bothered about whether I won or lost,” George told The Post. “It was the experience of being in South Korea and watching that world. I just had a great time!”

He’s not the only megastar on the show, either. Patti LaBelle, Kylie Minogue, Boyz II Men, Mel B and Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls, Kesha, Eve and more are also featured artists.

“KPopped” is available to stream on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 29.
