The boyfriend of a Bronx woman stabbed to death in the apartment they shared has been arrested, police said Tuesday.
Khaleel Cooper, 39, was nabbed Monday and charged with murder, manslaughter, weapon possession and endangering the welfare of a child.
Cooper allegedly stabbed Tamara Rowe, 40, about 8:35 p.m. Saturday inside the apartment in a six-story building on E. 232nd St. near White Plains Road where they were living with Rowe’s daughter.
Rowe, wounded in the chest and right arm, was rushed by medics to Montefiore Medical Center, where she died.
“That was very surprising,” neighbor Cheryl Thompson, 48, sad at the time. “There was no reason. No argument, no nothing. … They never fight.”
Police said Cooper has no previous arrests,
The building’s super, who gave his name as Andy, 57, said surveillance video shows the suspect leaving the apartment before cops arrived, taking the stairs from their top-floor home.

“This is very hard for me,” the super said. “They’re very quiet people. … They work very hard. They were both working very hard.”
