Brand New tour 2025: Where to buy tickets,

We’ve got some brand new Brand New news.

For the first time since 2017, the popular emo rockers are embarking on a nationwide tour.

As of now, the “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows” group and Long Island natives have a trio of Tri-state stops lined up on the 24-concert run. First, they’re slated to hit Rochester, NY’s Blue Cross Arena on Friday, June 27. Soon after, the group swings into Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on Sunday, June 29. Finally, the band will conclude their North American trek at Belmont Park, NY’s UBS Arena on Wednesday, July 2.

This tour announcement will likely come as a shock to fans since the quartet took an extended break from performing eight years ago after news broke that lead singer Jesse Lacey was accused of sexual misconduct with underage women. Once the story became public, Lacey apologized via Brand New’s Facebook page and the band subsequently postponed their tour dates without ever rescheduling them.

Still, this forthcoming arena and theater run won’t be the first time the band has taken the stage in the past eight years, though. Prior to the summer 2025 tour, Brand New headlined a private charity event in Nashville, TN and then in March 2025, they headlined a trio of shows in Dallas, Newport and Nashville.

While we don’t know what the the foursome will take to the stage this time around, Set List FM reports they played well-known tracks like “The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows,” “The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot” and “Jesus” at all gigs.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Brand New shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the summer 2025 tour is Friday, April 4.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

Jesse Lacey controversy

In November 2017, Nicole Elizabeth Garvey and Emily Driskill came forward and shared that Lacey had pushed them into sending nude photos and taking part in illicit acts while underage in the early aughts, which led to years-long trauma.

“I am sorry for how I have hurt people, mistreated them, lied and cheated,” Lacey wrote in a response via the band’s Facebook page. “I am sorry for ignoring the way in which my position, status and power as a member of a band affected the way people viewed me or their approach to their interactions with me. And I am sorry for how often I have not afforded women the respect, support or honesty that they deserved, and which is their right. I believe in the equality and autonomy of all, but in my life I have been more of a detriment to these ideals than an advocate.”

Garvey responded “He knew what he was doing was s—-y so he wouldn’t touch me until I was 19. I should’ve known better by then, but he had screwed me up so much psychologically that all I wanted was his approval. It f—ed me up to the point that I STILL have nightmares and wakeup in a sweat. I still breakdown and have panic attacks when people play Brand New in a bar.”
