A 21-year-old man was clinging to life Friday after a man on a bike rolled up and shot him in the cheek, police said.
Cops called to E. 141st St. near Willis Ave. in Mott Haven found the victim shot in the face at about 9:10 p.m. Thursday. The victim had also been shot in the shoulder.
EMS rushed the victim to Lincoln Hospital, where he remained in critical condition Friday.
Detectives determined that the victim was walking down E. 141st St. when two men on bikes rolled up to him.
One of the suspects jumped off his bike, pulled out a gun and opened fire on the victim, hitting him twice.
Two 9mm shell casings were found at the scene. The two suspects fled and remained at large Friday.
Cops were scouring the area looking for surveillance video that can help them identify the shooter.
