Brooke Hogan visits Hulk’s body amid questions about his death

Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, viewed her father’s body Tuesday after learning he may be cremated while questions remain regarding the circumstances of his death.

The 71-year-old wrestler died in his Florida home on July 24. While his official cause of death was listed a heart attack, Florida police said last week that medical malpractice may have been a factor, despite earlier saying there were “no signs of foul play or anything suspicious.”

His estranged daughter, who was reportedly notified of her dad’s death via text message, visited the Florida funeral home where her father’s body remains intact, according to TMZ. Sources said she wanted to see her dad’s remains after the wrestling legend’s widow confirmed Hulk would be cremated.

Brooke has openly questioned the circumstances of her father’s death, specifically after learning his cremation was approved without the medical examiner performing an autopsy. According to TMZ, she wonders if opioids or foul play may have contributed to his death.

“Yes, you can have a heart attack, but what was the reason for the heart attack?” she asked during an interview earlier this month with radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge.

Two weeks after Brooke’s comments, Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, told TMZ an autopsy had been conducted, but declined to offer the results of its findings.

She did, however, confirm that his phrenic nerve had been “compromised” during one of Hulk’s recent surgeries — something an occupational therapist reportedly also told police.

In a statement to TMZ last week, police in Clearwater, Fla. confirmed an investigation into Hogan’s death is ongoing.

“The unique nature of this case has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers, and our detectives continue to do that,” they said. “All of this takes time.”
