Brooklyn Beckham’s brothers mocked Nicola Peltz before family drama went public

Romeo and Cruz Beckham are spicing up the Instagram comments section.

In April, the brothers took to social media to share a back-and-forth laugh with one another beneath a photo amid rumored family drama.

Eagle-eyed social media users think the joke is aimed at their older brother Brooklyn Beckham’s wife of three years, Nicola Peltz.

Speculation of a feud between the couple and Brooklyn’s parents — Victoria and David Beckham — have swirled since their 2022 wedding. The drama then hit an all-time high last weekend when the model, 26, and “Bates Motel” actress, 30, missed David’s 50th birthday celebration.

Just a month prior, Nicola made the first keyboard strike after she commented beneath a picture Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Mia Regan. The soccer player, 22, and the British model, also 22, dated on and off for five years before splitting for good last February.

Nicola wrote beneath Mia’s April 5 Instagram carousel, which showcased the content creator on the cover of Pop Magazine, “so beautiful mia 🩷✨.”

Two days later, Romeo posted his own Instagram carousel — which included shots with his new girlfriend Kim Turnbull.

Cruz, 20, took to the comments section to seemingly mock Nicola, writing, “So beautiful Romeo ✨🩷,” to which the athlete responded: “😂😂.”

Rumor has it that the latest family drama stems from Kim, who was reportedly romantically tied to Brooklyn in the past. Sources, meanwhile, told Page Six that’s “nonsense.”

Reps for Peltz, Romeo and Cruz did not immediately respond to the Post’s requests for comment.

“David and Victoria are over it,” an insider expressed to Us Weekly earlier this week regarding the family rift. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”

Though on Thursday, a told Us Weekly that the “bad blood” between the Spice Girls singer and Nicola has left the couple “really upset.”

“David and Victoria just want all the drama to stop,” they shared. “They’re really upset that it’s all become so public. It’s embarrassing for them, especially since they’ve always tried to come across as this super tight, united family.”

The insider added that “Victoria wants all of her kids to get along and wants everyone to move on. It’s upsetting for her to see as a mother.”

According to the source, the tension started even before Brooklyn married the actress.

“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” they explained. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.”

As for the young couple missing the retired athlete’s birthday festivities on Saturday, the insider revealed that Brooklyn “completely supports and stands by Nicola, and it has put a rift in his relationship with his parents.”

“Nicola is outspoken and that is what has caused tension with his parents. She will defend Brooklyn a lot and is defensive.”

Despite Brooklyn trying to “mend” things with David and Victoria, who are also parents to daughter Harper, 13, the powerhouse duo “aren’t understanding of his side of the story.”

“They asked him to come to the birthday party and Brooklyn refused, so they are all taking space right now,” said the insider.

Romeo, Kim, Cruz and Harper all attended David’s star-studded bash at London’s Core restaurant.

The fashion designer and retired athlete allegedly hope that Brooklyn and Nicola will “come around.”

“It just seems like every event — from weddings to birthdays to holidays — there’s a drama,” the source noted.
