Brooklyn woman, 71, choked, groped in bed by man who snuck in through window

Cops are looking for a creep who snuck through the window of an older Brooklyn woman’s home one early morning last month and attacked and groped her in her bed, police said.

The 71-year-old woman was sleeping in her home near Berriman St. and Liberty Ave. in Cypress Hills on Aug. 30 around 2:15 a.m. when the unidentified man entered the residence through the kitchen’s window. The twisted intruder choked the woman and touched her genitals, before fleeing with the woman’s pajama pants.

EMS transported the victim to Kings County Hospital where she was in stable condition.

Cops are searching for the man in what they are calling a sexually motivated burglary. The suspect, who sported black hair and may have a mustache, wore a dark-colored T-shirt that may have had a FANIA record-label logo on it, knee-length gray sweatpants and black-and-white sneakers. He fled heading south on Atkins Ave.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
