Bruce Springsteen tickets for Brooklyn stop selling for up to $3K

Tickets for the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s “Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour” stop in Brooklyn went on sale Friday for as much as $2,957.10 through a link on his website directing fans to Ticketmaster.

Seats for many of the Boss’s gigs, including his two Madison Square Garden appearances in May and his April 20 performance in New Jersey go on sale Saturday.

At least one observer at NJ.com expressed sticker shock over the ticket prices already posted as well as what’s to come.

“He knows how deeply it hurts many lifelong fans,” Springsteen’s hometown outlet wrote.

Springsteen once again finds himself in a position of particular social relevance.

On Jan. 28, his newly released protest song “Streets of Minneapolis” became a rallying cry against ICE tactics being employed in Minnesota’s capital, where protesters Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed by federal officials.

“We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming!” Springsteen said in a statement announcing the tour while denouncing the nation’s “rogue government.”

The White House reacted to word of Springsteen’s tour with a statement calling the 76-year-old Academy Award and multiple Grammy Award winner a “loser” whose fans will abandon him because of his distaste for the Trump administration.

Springsteen’s 20-show tour concludes on May 27 in Washington, D.C.

Fans in the New York City area willing to drive to see The Boss were able to buy premium tickets to his Belmont Park show for under $600 Friday. Cheap seats behind the stage at Barclays Center price at around $200.

The tour opens in Minneapolis on March 31.
