“I’m grateful for the experiences, friendships and support from fabulous colleagues during my CNN years,” she wrote.

“Exciting news to share very soon!”

A CNN spokesperson confirmed to The Post that network boss Mark Thompson announced Golodryga’s departure to staffers on Thursday morning prior to her social media message.

The network rep told The Post that her last day is on Friday. She is expected to sign off at the end of her broadcast.

Zain Asher, her co-anchor on “One World,” will remain in the anchor position following her exit, the network rep told The Post.

Golodryga’s exit marks the second high-profile departure from CNN announced this week, following Monday’s surprise announcement that veteran international correspondent Christiane Amanpour would leave the network after 43 years.

Amanpour, 68, CNN’s chief international anchor, said she would step away from her daily program at the end of the year but continue hosting a weekly show through May before departing in June 2027.

The departures come just over two weeks after Paramount Skydance completed its acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery on Oct. 6, bringing CNN and CBS News under the same corporate umbrella.

The combined media giant, now known simply as Skydance, is led by David Ellison, son of Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison.

Golodryga, 48, is married to Peter Orszag, the former Obama administration budget director who is now CEO of boutique investment bank Lazard. The couple share two children.

The veteran journalist has co-anchored CNN International’s “One World” alongside Asher since September 2023. She also serves as the network’s senior global affairs analyst.

Golodryga first joined CNN as a contributor in 2017 while working as a correspondent for CBS News, where she later became a co-host of “CBS This Morning.”

She left CBS in April 2019 after the network overhauled its morning-show lineup, joining CNN full-time five months later.

Before her stint at CBS, Golodryga worked as a news and finance anchor at Yahoo and co-anchored the weekend edition of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

She began her television career at CNBC in 2001.

Born in Moldova when it was part of the Soviet Union, Golodryga came to the US with her parents as Jewish refugees in 1980 and grew up in the Houston area.

Fluent in Russian, she has covered Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the aftermath of Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel.

Her reporting has included a 2019 exclusive interview with Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei and a CNN documentary about Israeli hostages abducted by Hamas.

Last year, Golodryga co-authored “Don’t Feed the Lion,” a children’s novel about antisemitism and prejudice, with Israeli journalist Yonit Levi.

Golodryga declined to comment further when reached by The Post on Thursday.
