Colin Jost calls out ‘SNL’ for Russell Brand, Chris Brown episode

That didn’t age well.

Colin Jost called attention to a past “Saturday Night Live” episode featuring problematic stars Russell Brand and Chris Brown on the latest “Weekend Update” segment.

“Actor Russell Brand was charged in England with sexual assault,” Jost, 42, said, referencing Brand’s latest legal troubles. “Which somehow makes this video even creepier.”

A clip then played of Brand, 49, introducing Brown, 35, as the musical guest on the sketch comedy show in February 2011.

The live audience in Studio 8H gasped and laughed as the camera cut back to Jost smirking and shaking his head.

“Wow. We really know how to pair ‘em up,” the comedian said, as his co-host Michael Che could be heard laughing in the background.

On Friday, Brand was charged with rape, indecent assault, oral rape and two counts of sexual assault by the Metropolitan Police.

Cops said the alleged offenses are tied to four separate women and took place between 1999 and 2005, at the height of Brand’s fame.

The British podcaster denied the allegations in a video statement on Instagram.

“I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord. I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an imbecile, but what I never was was a rapist,” he said. “I’ve never engaged in nonconsensual activity. I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes.”

Brand, who is set to appear in court on May 2, vowed to “defend these charges.”

Brown, meanwhile, has a history of alleged violence against women. In 2009, the singer pleaded guilty to felony assault after attacking his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

In January, Brown sued Warner Bros. for $500 million over the Investigation Discovery docuseries “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” in which multiple women came forward and accused Brown of assault. One of the accusers claimed Brown raped her on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ yacht in Miami in 2020. Brown’s attorneys denied all the accusations.

According to the court documents, Brown is seeking $500 million in damages, alleging the docuseries has negatively impacted his reputation, career and business opportunities. He reportedly plans to donate a portion of the whopping sum to victims of sexual abuse if awarded.

Brand and Brown appeared on the 36th season of “SNL.” Their episode, which aired Feb. 12, 2011, featured Brown performing his hits “Yeah 3x” and “No BS.” Neither star has appeared on the show since.
