Another suspected suicide took place at Walt Disney World this weekend, following the Orlando park’s slew of deaths and medical emergencies throughout late 2025.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office told TMZ they’re investigating a possible suicide after discovering a deceased man at the Disney Springs Orange Garage around 9 p.m. on Friday.
The OCSO did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for additional information.
The House of Mouse has seen an uncanny number of deaths in recent months, the majority of which have taken place at the Florida theme park. The string of incidents began in early October, with the death of a visitor in her 60s after she became unresponsive during the Haunted Mansion attraction at California’s Disneyland.
In mid-October, a 31-year-old woman died of an apparent suicide at Disney World’s Contemporary Resort, which also became the site of a 28-year-old man’s suicide just 10 days later.
Between those two deaths, a man in his 60s suffered a fatal “medical episode” at Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
November began with the death of a woman in her 40s, who was transported from the park to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
In late November, during the middle of the night, a 73-year-old man went missing from a Disney Wonder cruise traveling between Australia and New Zealand. Authorities believe he died after jumping from the ship into the waters of the Tasman Sea.
In early December, video showed a bystander trying to save a man who collapsed during a Magic Kingdom parade. It’s unclear whether that person survived his medical emergency.
And just this past Tuesday, a Disney World staffer jumped in front of a massive boulder when it fell off the track during the “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!” show. The employee was hailed a hero for saving the guests in the audience, but was ultimately hit himself by the 400-pound set piece.
Representatives for the park confirmed to The News that he was “recovering,” though his current condition is unclear.
