Cops release footage of gunman in fatal shooting of teen, 16, stepping off Queens MTA bus


Surveillance images were released Thursday of the suspect wanted for the fatal shooting of a teenager just after they both stepped off a Queens MTA bus.

The killer and victim Sincere Jazmin, 16, exited a Q83 bus near Liberty Ave. and 172nd St. in South Jamaica about 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

The gunman fired a bullet into Sincere’s chest before running off east on Liberty Ave., cops said. Medics rushed the boy to Jamaica Hospital but he could not be saved.

Surveillance footage released by the NYPD shows the suspect, a dark-complexioned teen, walking down the street wearing a gray hoodie, sweatpants and white-and-black sneakers while carrying a black-and gray-backpack.

Cops are asking the public’s help identifying the suspect and tracking him down.
