Cops searching for gunman who shot, wounded 16-year-old in Brooklyn bodega

A masked gunman shot and wounded a 16-year-old boy in a Brooklyn bodega, and cops on Sunday released footage of the assailant to help track him down.

The teen was inside 24/7 Eats Deli & Grill on Sutter Ave. and Crystal St. in East New York around 9:25 p.m. Jan. 5 when the shooter walked into the store, police said.

Wearing a white sweat suit and black face mask, the gunman fired multiple shots, striking the teen numerous times. He then took off northbound on Crystal St. in a black Honda Accord, leaving the wounded teen in the bodega.

Medics rushed the boy to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in stable condition.

Police are still looking for the gunman, and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
