Keanu Reeves was confronted by a crazed fan while leaving his Broadway play over the weekend, and the surprising incident was caught on video.
After the “Matrix” star, 61, exited the Hudson Theater and stepped into a black SUV following a performance of “Waiting for Godot” on Sunday night, a woman rushed the vehicle while shouting out Reeves’ name.
“It’s your divine wife!” the fan called out as she yelled for those holding her back to “let go” of her, which was captured in a TikTok video.
“You guys need a restraining order on this one,” the person filming the altercation was overheard saying. “Why are you bugging out?”
The unidentified woman then broke free from what appeared to be security and once again darted toward the passenger side of the “John Wick” star’s SUV, pulling the back door handle.
“Don’t let them hurt me,” she said before being forced away from the vehicle once more and pushed to the ground. “Keanu! Keanu!”
As Reeves’ car drove away down West 44th Street, the fan walked after the “Point Break” star while yelling out his name.
At one point toward the end of the viral clip, the woman appeared to flip off those standing outside the Hudson Theater while muttering something under her breath.
The Post has reached out to Reeves’ reps for comment.
“Waiting for Godot,” an adaptation of Samuel Beckett’s absurdist 1952 play, stars Reeves and former “Bill and Ted” co-star Alex Winter.
Described as “meandering and stiff” by The Post’s theater critic Johnny Oleksinski, the production kicked off on Sept. 28 and is scheduled to run through Jan. 4.
Meanwhile, the “Good Fortune” star made more headlines last month when his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, spoke out to dispel rumors that the couple had tied the knot.
Reeves and the artist first crossed paths in 2009 and then collaborated for the book “Ode to Happiness” in 2011. They later debuted their romance while on the red carpet for the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles in Nov. 2019.
“I’m sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding,” Grant, 52, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo that fans thought was a wedding announcement. “Except we didn’t get married.”
“Good news is much needed these days, but it’s still fake news, so be careful out there!” she added. “So, here’s a bit of real happiness!”
More recently, Rosie O’Donnell revealed that she wasn’t a fan of having the “Constantine” star on her talk show back in the ’90s.
“One of the worst, who, I love the guy, but he’s not good on talk shows: Keanu Reeves,” the comedian, 63, shared while on the Australian talk show “Sam Pang Tonight” last week.
“He’s so sweet, he looks gorgeous, I love all his movies, but he would not answer a question,” she added.
