Cops are searching for a man who slashed a 23-year-old woman on the back of the head with an unknown object last month after she wouldn’t respond to his amorous advances on a Bronx street, police said Friday.
The woman was walking near Fulton Ave. and Claremont Pkwy. in Mott Haven shortly after midnight on July 19 when a strange man tried to speak to her — then slashed her on the back of her head with an unknown sharp object as she walked away from him, police said.
After slashing the woman, the creep ran off.
The woman was cut on the right side of her head. EMS transported her to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Cops described the suspect as having a dark complexion and last seen wearing a black sweater with a light-colored stripe down the arms, gray pants and green sneakers.
