Crooks swipe $30K in jewelry from Hudson Yards luxe boutique

Cops are seeking a pair of robbers who swiped close to $30,000 worth of jewelry from a swanky Hudson Yards boutique in Manhattan, cops said Saturday.

The diamond-hunting duo entered the Monica Rich Kosann jewelry store in The Shops, inside 20 Hudson Yards, near W. 30th St. and 10th Ave., on Feb. 5. One of the men approached a store worker in order to distract her. While he was doing that, his sidekick snatched three pieces of jewelry, including two pricey necklaces — one a baguette compass, the other a diamond moon. The thieves hid the glittering ornaments as they fled out of the store.

No one was injured in the incident.

The total cost of the stolen jewelry was estimated at around $29,515, cops said.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspects in hopes someone recognizes them. One of the men wore a black knit hat, a black jacket, dark jeans and gray sneakers, while the other sported a brown hat, black jacket, blue shirt, dark blue pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
