CT man arrested after walking around restaurant naked

A Connecticut man was arrested after walking into a restaurant in Tolland, going into the bathroom and then emerging naked, startling diners at the height of the dinner hour.

Papa T’s restaurant on Merrow Road was packed with customers, including families with children, at around 6 p.m. on Friday when 42-year-old Andrew Kinghorn strolled in and sat down at the counter, employees of the eatery told state police.

After requesting a menu, Kinghorn allegedly went to the restroom for 10 to 15 minutes, then came out in his birthday suit and began walking around the restaurant. His nakedness “caused alarm amongst the patrons,” state police said, according to WTNH.

The cops were called who arrived to find Kinghorn back in the restroom but still completely naked. They told him to get dressed, which he did, and then took him into custody. He’s been charged with second-degree breach of peace and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Kinghorn, of Ellington, was released on $20,000 bond and is slated for a Dec. 11 appearance in Rockville Superior Court. Police did not speculate on Kinghorn’s motive.
