D4vd won’t continue his U.S. tour amid Los Angeles Police’s investigation into the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, whose decomposing body was found in a bag last week in the singer’s impounded Tesla.
Insiders told TMZ that those in the orbit of the 20-year-old “Romantic Homicide” singer, real name David Anthony Burke, have decided to cancel his last two stateside performances — Friday at San Francisco’s The Warfield before heading Saturday to Los Angeles’ storied The Greek.
At the time of publication, both performances are still listed, as are those in the tour’s European leg, slated for Oct. 1 through Nov. 4, as well as the four Australia shows scheduled for early December.
Sources also told TMZ that Universal Music Group-owned Interscope has halted all musical promotion for D4vd out of respect for the investigation, as have Sony Music Publishing and agency Wasserman.
The Daily News has reached out to UMG, Sony and Wasserman for comment.
The remains, which were not in tact, were identified this week as belonging to Rivas, who disappeared in April 2024 from her family’s Lake Elsinore, Calif. home. She was 13 at the time. Her mother told TMZ this week that Rivas had a boyfriend named David.
Both Rivas and D4vd reportedly had “Shhh…” tattoos on their right index fingers.
Authorities on Wednesday night spent 12 hours searching a Los Angeles home where D4vd had been staying, though it was reportedly being rented by his manager, Josh Marshall. Law enforcement sources told TMZ Thursday that they had been looking for traces of blood at the home, from which they seized a computer and collected hair samples.
