There’s a game of cosmic bumper cars happening overhead. The Sun in Cancer is locking into a confrontational square with Saturn in Aries at 2:30 am EDT, forcing us to get serious if we ever want to see any action being taken — by us or by someone else. Mars in Virgo will meanwhile quincunx Pluto in Aquarius, making it difficult to express our fire without getting burnt. Lastly, the Moon will enter mercurial Gemini, so communication will be key to finding a way forward.
Aries
March 21 – April 19
Hold your horses, Aries. The Sun in your careful 4th house is making one of its two yearly squares to icy Saturn, but this is the first time in nearly three decades that it is doing so with Saturn in your courageous sign. You may feel stopped in your tracks suddenly, or like you must tend to an important matter that you cannot ignore any longer. A family member might need you to step in and be the adult. Saturn expects maturity from you.
Taurus
April 20 – May 20
Something could be holding you back. You want to go-go-go while the Sun is in your busy 3rd house, showing you plenty of people to see and things to do. Contrastingly, as the Sun locks into a cold square with stoic Saturn in your mystifying 12th house, you could feel rather out of sorts. Perhaps you are feeling a bit more fragile than usual, or simply don’t feel very social for the time being. Don’t fight this energy, but don’t ignore it, either.
Gemini
May 21 – June 20
Collaborators may prove less helpful than usual right now. You are in one of the most productive phases of the year while the Sun resides in your 2nd House of Earned Income, but it’s getting tangled up with Saturn in your 11th House of Social Networks. Watch out for roadblocks! People you were counting on to help out might leave you high and dry, or your friends could wind up distracting you from the work you should be doing. Interruptions are everywhere.
Cancer
June 21 – July 22
The finish line isn’t going to get any closer unless you take steps to get there. Today, the stars are encouraging mindful progress and productivity as the Sun in your intuitive sign squares off masterful Saturn in your career sector. Saturn rules this arena, making it easy for it (and you!) to operate at maximum capacity. Let the stars light your ideal path forward. This guidance doesn’t mean reaching your destination will be easy, but Saturn shouldn’t lead you astray.
Leo
July 23 – August 22
You don’t have to “win” to succeed. You may feel a tad out of it, or like your energy levels are lower than normal while the Sun is in your sleepy 12th house. Opposingly, the Sun is locking into a square with Saturn in your boundless 9th house, leaving you to feel like you’re being pushed too far, too fast. To avoid getting lost along the way, make a point of slowing down and taking things one step at a time.
Virgo
August 23 – September 22
A certain dark cloud is hanging over an otherwise sunny day. You are being invited to spend time with your preferred people while the Sun is in your outgoing 11th house, but a square to no-nonsense Saturn in your private 8th house could throw a wrench in that. Perhaps you need to step back to deal with a serious issue, or you abruptly become not interested in chit-chat, and only want serious conversation. Easy-breezy can be fun, but it isn’t your vibe for the moment.
Libra
September 23 – October 22
People won’t always say what you want them to. You are set on your goals while the Sun is in your ambitious 10th house, but its square to uncompromising Saturn in your collaboration zone could have someone either naysaying or otherwise derailing your plans. Maybe they’ll show you ten good reasons why they won’t work, or they simply don’t heap praise on you like you would prefer. Pay attention, though; what they say may be more helpful and insightful than you first realize.

October 23 – November 21
You can’t abandon reality at a time like this. The Sun in your freewheeling 9th house is bothering stiff Saturn in your responsible 6th house, commanding you to roll up your sleeves and put your nose to the grindstone — even if you’d rather dance off into the sunset.
