The decomposing bodies of a 33-year-old woman and 7-year-old boy were discovered in a Brooklyn apartment Wednesday, police said.
Cops were called to the apartment on Dumont Ave. near Hinsdale St. in East New York just after 2:05 p.m. in response to reports of a foul odor, police said.
When they arrived, officers made the grisly discovery and medics pronounced both the woman and boy dead on the scene.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the victims were mother and child, cops said.
The city Medical Examiner will determine their causes of death.
