Dennis Quaid makes surprise ‘DWTS’ appearance for a ‘Parent Trap’ reunion

Oh man, this is beyond coincidence.

During Week 5 of “Dancing With the Stars,” Elaine Hendrix dedicated her dance to her “Parent Trap” co-star, Lisa Ann Walter, nearly 30 years after starring together in the beloved movie.

While the “Abbott Elementary” actress, 62, joined the “Superstar” vet, 54, on the ballroom floor, another cast member sat front and center in the audience.

Dennis Quaid supported his longtime pals, wearing a suede brown jacket and white t-shirt, just like he did in the Disney film.

In the 1998 family comedy, Hendrix played Meredith Blake, the gold-digging fiancée of Quaid’s Nick Parker. The project follows twins Annie and Hallie (both played by Lindsay Lohan, 39), who have never met until attending the same camp by happenstance.

American Hallie and British-raised Annie decide to swap places for a chance at spending time with the parent they’ve missed.

“It means everything to me, the love and support of the people who are here and the people who aren’t here,” Hendrix gushed about her co-stars being there. “I just I feel so much love. And when you are lucky enough to have these kind of people in your life, you have to hold on to them because they’re lifers.”

Earlier this season, the “Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion” alum also got candid on Lohan, who she reunited with in “Freakier Friday,” decades after starring together in the late ’90s.

“She really is [killing it],” Hendrix told The Post. “I hadn’t seen her since she was a little girl. Since we did ‘Parent Trap.’ And now that she’s all grown up, you know, we’re reconnected. We’re back in touch. And I just think she’s had an epic life.”

“I feel like she’s had the life that every young woman should have,” added the celeb. “She just happened to do it in the spotlight. So I just think it’s been epic. And I’m thrilled for her. I love where she’s at now.

Now, years later, fans have taken to social media to start a justice for Meredith Blake movement, including dressing like her and impersonating her character’s iconic lines.

“Yes,” Hendrix confirmed when asked if she had seen the fandom’s response.

“I have the millennials to thank for that because when you play a character, you always have to justify everything that you’re doing,” she said. “So from day one, I said Meredith was not the villain, and I had no idea that all I needed to do was wait for the millennials to grow up and understand that. Now here we are.”

While millennials are patiently waiting for a sequel, they did receive a “Freaky Friday” sequel in August.

Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprised their roles as mother and daughter Tess and Anna Coleman in “Freakier Friday.” In the 2003 movie, the two accidentaly switch bodies before Tess is set to marry her fiancé, Ryan (Mark Harmon).

This time around, Anna’s daughter and stepdaughter-to-be get caught in the mix.

Hendrix portrayed Blake Kale, a stylist, whose name and personality are reminiscent of Meredith Blake.

“I literally got a call from the director, Nisha Ganatra, who is a friend of mine, and she’s like, ‘Hey, will you come do this movie?,” recalled Hendrix. “Will you make a cameo in a movie that I’m directing?’ And I’m like, ‘Of course!’ I will do anything that Nisha asks me to do.”

“She’s like, ‘Oh, it’s ‘Freakier Friday,’” noted the dancer. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, okay totally!’ And so apparently, everyone had had a conversation, and there I was.”
