Donald Trump Jr.’s new girlfriend Bettina Anderson seeks philanthropic role in prez-elect’s admin: sources

Donald Trump Jr.’s new girlfriend Bettina Anderson is eyeing a cushy philanthropic role in the incoming Trump administration, sources at Mar-a-Lago told The Post.

Anderson, 38, is a Palm Beach socialite and has expressed a desire to serve on one of the Trump White House’s community outreach boards or advisory committees, one source close to the transition efforts said.

In particular, she’s been pushing for the top spot on the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities, said a second source familiar with the discussions.

Anderson has been schmoozing insiders at Donald Trump’s resort home after the president-elect’s eldest son called it quits with his fiancée of nearly four years, Kimberly Guilfoyle.

The split coincided with Guilfoyle, 55, landing a plum gig as US ambassador to Greece.

In a Truth Social post announcing the appointment, Trump, 78, praised the ex-Fox News host “a close friend and ally” and touted “[h]er extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect,” calling “her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad.”

Don Jr.’s new flame has had access to senior decision makers while ingratiating herself, the source close to transition efforts noted, adding that Anderson was heard speaking about how she could help the administration appeal to “the more sophisticated and liberal Hamptons and Palm Beach types of people.”

But insiders have questioned whether Anderson has good intentions or the qualifications needed to serve in a second Trump administration, which is already on a fast track to confirming a long list of political appointees in the new year.

“Being a wannabe influencer is nothing new in this world — but is she an influencer or an infiltrator?” the transition source questioned.

Asked about the potential philanthrophic appointment, a spokesperson for Don Jr. fired back: “This is totally wrong — not only is she not getting one she has never brought up wanting one.”

Anderson currently serves on the board of Project Paradise Film Fund, which gives out $25,000 grants to produce movies about Florida’s wildlife. All proceeds are donated to conservation efforts.

“As a Palm Beach native and an outdoor enthusiast, Bettina is passionate about protecting Florida wildlife and preserving the natural treasures that make Florida such a unique and beautiful place to live,” a description reads on the website.

“Bettina loves being in the water and, as a licensed rebreather tech diver, she has a unique and special lens for witnessing the impact that over-development is having on our natural waters and marine wildlife,” Anderson’s description reads on the website.

Her presence at Mar-a-Lago, however, has been scorned by some Trump allies, sources told the Daily Mail, who are concerned she’s not “MAGA” enough and has left-leaning views.

Anderson’s Instagram posts include her speaking out about her personal views against having children and has a picture with a baby carriage filled with shopping bags.

Anderson has posted pro-Black Lives Matter content — and proudly posed in a mask while mocking bare-faced passersby for their “ignorance” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I’m just your typical stay at home mom…only I don’t do household chores…or have a husband…or have kids,” her Instagram bio reads.

She has also previously posted pro-Black Lives Matter content — and proudly posed in a mask while mocking bare-faced passersby for their “ignorance” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The transition is delivering big wins for the country,” one source in Trump’s inner circle told the Mail. “We can’t afford to have any headaches or liabilities trying to grift their way to more Instagram followers. … Especially ones who aren’t MAGA to begin with.”

Kimberly Guilfoyle was reportedly blind sighted by Don Jr’s new relationship and was still seen with Don last month. AP

The sources who spoke with The Post shared a similar sentiment, questioning her motives and whether she will use Don Jr. to merely gain more influence.

For her part, Guilfoyle has been looking forward to the “future” after splitting from her 46-year-old ex-fiancé.

“Kimberly realizes she needs to focus on the future and she’s very excited about her next step as an ambassador. She’s still as big of an ally to the president as ever. But definitely some frustration and disappointment over how she was treated in recent weeks,” the source said.

“I think part of it is she’s a bit worried for Don because if there are some nefarious intentions from this new woman, that would just be awful. Don’s great and has done an awesome job on the transition. Would just be unfortunate to have a self-inflicted wound.”

Anderson and Trump transition spokespeople did not respond to inquiries sent by The Post.
