“Real Housewives of New York” star Dorinda Medley will be jetting off to Florida to film the reunion series, “The Golden Life,” alongside other show alums.
“Well, the rumors are true! I will be joining the women on ‘The Golden Life’ in Palm Beach,’” Medley said in a statement obtained by Us Weekly on Tuesday. “After decades of friendship, and navigating life’s ups and downs together, it will be nice to reconnect with my ‘sisters.’ I am so excited to celebrate and share the next chapter of our lives!”
The 10-episode season, produced by Blink49 Studios, is due to start filming this spring.
E! announced the new docuseries earlier this month. It’s set to follow Medley and several other RHONY alums — including Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Kelly Bensimon — as they navigate life away from New York City.
Medley was tapped to join the reboot show following the firing of fellow RHONY alum Jill Zarin over her comments regarding Bad Bunny’s performance during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
In a since-deleted video shared to Instagram, Zarin called it “the worst halftime show ever,” taking specific issue with the fact that almost all of it was in a different language.

“I don’t speak Spanish. I would’ve liked to have known the words that he was saying,” she said. “To me, it looked like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the entire thing.”
Zarin added she believes the performance was a reaction to the “ICE thing,” a seeming reference to the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, which has seen thousands of federal agents deployed to cities across America.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink49 Studios has decided not to move forward with her involvement in The Golden Life,” the network said in a statement. “We remain committed to delivering the series in line with our company standards and values.”
Medley joined Bravo’s “Real Housewives of New York City” in its seventh season and remained on the show through season 12.
