Driver plows into six people after botching left turn in the Bronx



Cops are looking for a man who rammed into six people after botching a turn at an intersection in the Bronx, authorities said Wednesday.

The driver was behind the wheel of a 2017 Ford Mustang around 10:50 a.m. July 3 at the intersection of East 149 St. and Courtlandt Ave. in Mott Haven when he tried to make a left turn going north on Courtlandt Ave. — but failed to navigate the roadway and hit the sidewalk, cops said.

The six people struck were a 30-year-old man, 30-year-old woman, 43-year-old man, 49-year-old woman, 69-year-old man, and 79-year-old woman.

The driver ditched the car and fled, authorities said. He was described as having tattoos on both arms, dark facial hair, and was wearing a black do-rag, white tee-shirt, green sweatpants, and yellow sneakers.

EMS transported the six victims to Lincoln Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries and were stable condition, cops said.
