For Jack Black, Elle Fanning’s attraction to him is a complete unknown.
Last fall, while taking the Vanity Fair Lie Detector Test, the actress, 27, revealed to her sister Dakota Fanning that she found the actor, 56, to be “sex on legs.”
Fanning also called Black “the perfect man,” and “the hottest man I’ve ever seen in my life.”
In a TikTok video shared by Sony Pictures on Sunday, Black’s “Anaconda” co-star Paul Rudd played the clip for them.
“That’s a real emotion,” the “Clueless” star, 56, said about Fanning’s overzealous reaction of Black.
“Have you ever heard of body dysmorphia?” the “School of Rock” star responded. “Where when you look at yourself, you’re like, ‘Oh, I’m so ugly,’ but really you’re like this gorgeous creature? I think she’s got like the opposite of that, where she looks at me, which objectively is a goblin gremlin, and she sees this gorgeous creature apparently.”
Black also stressed that Fanning has “that goblin dysmorphia.”
“Thank you,” he continued. “I appreciate the compliment, but I have to close my eyes, because I can’t quite process what I’m hearing there. But thank you, Elle.”
“To the boyfriend,” Black quipped about Fanning’s partner of two years, Gus Wenner. “Dude, we’ve got no beef. We’re cool. I didn’t do nothing to deserve this attention.”
However, Rudd couldn’t help but agree with the “Maleficent” actress.
“I will say on behalf of Elle Fanning, I get it,” he expressed. “I really do. I adore you, Jack. As does America! As does the world! Elle’s got it right. Elle’s got it right.”
“No you don’t you son of a biscuit,” Black clapped back, to which Rudd simply stated: “I really do!”
This isn’t the first time Fanning has expressed her love for Black.
In 2024, she appeared on the “The Tonight Show” and revealed that Wenner, 35, told the “Nacho Libre” actor at the Golden Globes: “You’re her hall pass.”
Fanning and Black’s wife, Tanya Haden, whom he tied the knot with in 2006, were also there.
According to the “Great” alum, Haden, 54, “loved” the business executive’s remark.
“We were laughing,” Fanning confessed. “I mean, I was turning bright red. I still am.”
Fanning and Black took a picture together as well.
“We were waiting for our cars at the valet at the same time, and my boyfriend was with me, he was like, ‘Go up to him, go up to him,’ and he convinced me to, and I did,” she recalled about their selfie. “Then my boyfriend yelled to him, he was like, ‘You’re her hall pass, by the way!’”
