Right-wing tech billionaire Elon Musk appears to have tried multiple times to visit Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, according to emails released by the Justice Department on Friday.
A series of messages between Musk, Epstein and the late sex offender’s assistants show the Tesla boss looking to attend the “wildest party” being thrown on the island at the end of 2012.
In one email sent on Nov. 24 of that year, Epstein wrote to ask Musk how many people would need to choppered to the Caribbean property, formally called Little Saint James.
“Probably just Talulah and me. What day/night will be the wildest party on [your] island?” Musk replied, likely referring to actress Talulah Riley, to whom he was married from 2010 to 2012, and again from 2013 to 2016.
That plan doesn’t appear to have come to fruition.
In another exchange in late 2013, Epstein again offered to send a helicopter to bring Musk to the private island after the tech entrepreneur said he’d be in the Caribbean over the holidays.
On Christmas Day, Epstein emailed to ask Musk whether he preferred to be picked up in St. Barts or St. Thomas for the flight to his nearby island. Musk replied that he’d be in St. Barts and could head to the island on Jan. 2, though a later email showed him needing to cancel those plans.
In September 2014, Epstein emailed Musk to ask if he was planning to be in St. Barts again for Christmas.
A Google Calendar reminder for Epstein, obtained by the DOJ, indicated that Musk was tentatively expected to visit the island on Dec. 6.
Musk has denied knowledge of that plan.
The pair also shared several conversations including one in which Epstein asked if Musk could help generate electrical power on the island. In another, the SpaceX owner spoke of his professional endeavors and Epstein replied, “Congratulations, now it’s time for fun.”
The email exchanges released on Friday were sent several years after Epstein competed his jail sentence for soliciting prostitution from a minor.
Musk told Vanity Fair in 2019 that Epstein “tried repeatedly” to get him to visit the island but that he had declined. He was also photographed at an Oscars party in 2014 alongside Epstein’s now-imprisoned associate Ghislaine Maxwell, but later denied knowing her.
“Don’t know Ghislaine at all,” he posted on his social media platform in 2020. “She photobombed me once at a Vanity Fair party several years ago.”
In 2021, Maxwell was found guilty of sex trafficking and conspiring to entice minors to be abused by Epstein. She’s currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Epstein died by suicide in jail while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges in 2019.
Musk has not been accused of any illegal activity involving Epstein, Maxwell or any of their associates. His team at Tesla has not responded to a Daily News request for comment.
