Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of raping her as a teenager, said she has four days to live following a car crash.
Giuffre, 41, said Sunday she’d been diagnosed with kidney failure following the crash. She posted a photo to Instagram which showed her face severely bruised.
“Virginia has been in a serious accident and is receiving medical care in the hospital,” her representative told CBS News. “She greatly appreciates the support and well wishes people are sending.”

The circumstances of the accident were unclear Monday. Giuffre said she was driving when a school bus struck her vehicle at 110 kilometers per hour (about 68 mph). She was last reported to be living in Australia.
“I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time,” Giuffre wrote, referring to her children. “Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life.”
Giuffre is possibly the most well-known person who has accused Epstein of sexually assaulting her. She was part of multiple criminal and civil cases against Epstein prior to his death by suicide in 2019.
Additionally, Giuffre said Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked her to Britain’s Prince Andrew, and she appears in a notorious photo in which Andrew has his arm around her. Giuffre filed a civil suit against Andrew that was eventually settled out of court.
