Gal Gadot to star and produce film based on book by NYT bestseller



Actress Gal Gadot is set to star in the film adaptation of the bestselling “Recovery Agent” book series by Janet Evanovich, after its feature rights were acquired by Paramount Pictures, Deadline reported on Wednesday.

Gadot and partner Jaron Varsano are set to co-produce the project, alongside Paramount, Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz.

“The Recovery Agent: A New Adventure Begins” was released in 2022 and, together with its sequel, “The King’s Ransom,” published in 2025, has become an instant bestseller.

The book series is about protagonist Gabriela Rose, a recovery agent who is hired to seek lost treasures.
