California Gov. Gavin Newsom mocked President Trump in a series of unhinged social media posts on Tuesday — where he also made a tasteless Grindr joke about a conservative influencer.
Newsom’s press office unleashed a tirade against Trump — calling him “deranged” and saying he had “little fingers” after the president announced he was launching a fraud investigation into California.
“Donald Trump is a deranged, habitual liar whose relationship with reality ended years ago,” Newsom’s team posted on X. “Gavin Newsom runs a state. Donald Trump runs his mouth and little fingers.”
Newsom also went off on podcaster Benny Johnson who said he will be sending a team to investigate the Golden State after claims that $250 billion in taxpayer dollars have been lost to possible fraud.
“We’ll make sure the Grindr servers are ready,” Newsom’s press office replied to Johnson on X.
Grindr is a location-based app for “gay, bi, trans, and queer people” commonly used for hookups.
Trump had posted on Truth Social Tuesday that the “fraud investigation of California has begun.”
“California, under Governor Gavin Newscum, is more corrupt than Minnesota, if that’s possible,” the president said on X, using his nickname for Newsom.
The president offered no details on the probe, which comes as Minnesota is facing a multi-million dollar fraud scandal in its social safety net programs.
But Newsom’s press office pushed back and ranted about Trump posting “garbage” social media.

Newsom’s office claimed that the governor “has been cleaning house” and blocked billions in fraud.
The Post first reported Monday that the federal government is cutting off $10 billion in childcare and social services funding to several blue states, including California.
The California Department of Social Services told The Post Monday that it had not yet received any formal communication from the federal government.
“He spends his days posting whatever garbage his shriveled little brain can cough up — and Fox News dutifully treats it like the Lord’s scripture,” Newsom’s office wrote.
