Gayle King awkwardly asks ‘It Ends With Us’ star ‘Team Blake’ or ‘Team Justin’

Gayle King added fuel to the “It Ends With Us” fire when she awkwardly asked Brandon Sklenar which of his co-stars he’s siding with amid Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s ongoing legal feud.

King put Sklenar, Lively’s other on-screen lover (Atlas) in the flick, in the hot seat when he appeared on “CBS Mornings” on Monday, February 17, by straight-up questioning him: “Are you Team Blake or Team Justin?”

Sklenar, however, proved he’s a professional by responding, “I’m Team It Ends With Us.”

That didn’t stop King from prying. She then asked how he was handling the ongoing lawsuits between the “Gossip Girl” alum, 37, and Baldoni, 41, who directed and starred as Ryle, the other lover of Lily Bloom (Lively), in the film.

Sklenar redirected the question, telling King, “I just want people to remember why we made the movie in the first place and what it stands for, and just keeping the focus on that.”

He continued to share about the importance of the movie, which is about domestic violence.

“I have someone very close to me who’s gone through what [Lively’s character Lily is] going through for a long time and I’ve been on the front lines helping her navigate that space, so that movie meant a lot to me and it means a lot to her,” the actor stated.

“It was one of the reasons that me doing that movie gave her the strength to change her life,” Sklenar continued. “It’s unfortunate that things get taken away from what the ethos of that thing is and it gets convoluted.”

Last year, Lively sued Baldoni for alleged sexual harassment, claiming he orchestrated a public smear campaign against her. He denied her accusations.

Baldoni, in turn, countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, alleging defamation, extortion and more — claims the Hollywood couple also denied.

Sklenar and their “It Ends With Us” co-star Jenny Slate and the book’s author Colleen Hoover supported Lively following her initial claims.

The actress and Baldoni are headed to trial on March 9, 2026 — but Lively isn’t laying low.

She made an appearance at the “SNL 50” anniversary special on Sunday night to support Reynolds, who alluded to the legal feud in a skit on the sketch comedy show’s monumental night.

“Ryan Reynolds, how’s it going?” Amy Poehler asked Reynolds as the camera panned to him and Lively sitting in the audience.

“Why? What have you heard?” he quipped, causing mixed reactions from the star-studded audience.

Lively and Reynolds’ “SNL” appearance also left some scratching their heads, with an insider exclusively telling Page Six they believe the couple “should have sat this one out.”

“It’s very plausible that Justin’s legal team will use this public outing to defend Baldoni,” the source claimed. “Justin is taking this lawsuit in all seriousness and isn’t making a public mockery out of it.”

A second insider said the actress “was initially hesitant to attend the anniversary show but ultimately she’s glad she went and had a really nice time.”

“Blake and Ryan have no regrets about making an appearance and they’re glad they showed up because they have nothing to hide and no reason not to.”
