Giants back on ‘Hard Knocks’ after 2024 nightmare – New York Daily News

Not again.

The Giants will be back on ‘Hard Knocks‘ this season after embarrassing themselves on the show’s offseason version in 2024.

And once again, Saquon Barkley will be going on with them.

HBO and NFL Films will be filming “Hard Knocks: In Season with the NFC East” during the 2025 season, featuring the Super Bowl champion Eagles, the up-and-coming Washington Commanders, the evolving Dallas Cowboys and the desperate Giants.

The show will debut in December and will follow the teams during the final stretch of the NFL season and into the playoffs.

Barkley’s departure from New York to Philadelphia was the focal point of last spring’s Giants’ Offseason ‘Hard Knocks’ series.

The show logged receipts of Joe Schoen’s and the organization’s ineptitude in handing an MVP candidate and 2,000-yard rusher to their arch-rival, setting the Eagles up to win a Super Bowl.

Schoen has lamented the toll it took and said recently he would welcome being able to work behind the scenes.

“I met my quota on that stuff,” Schoen said recently on the Up & Adams Show.

A press release for this year’s in-season version cited the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, the Giants’ Russell Wilson and Malik Nabers, the Commanders’ Jayden Daniels and Terry McLaurin and Jalen Hurts and Barkley of the Eagles as some of the ‘stars’ to be featured in the series.

This will be the second edition of the in-division Hard Knocks format after the AFC North was featured last year.

The Buffalo Bills and quarterback Josh Allen will be on Hard Knocks’ traditional Training Camp series in the summer before the NFC East takes center stage later in the year.
