As a Bronx man was shot to death in a crazed clash over a parking spot, the accused killer’s girlfriend beat up the victim’s fiancée, fracturing multiple bones in her face, prosecutors revealed Monday.
Trevor Hughes, 49, was shot in the abdomen outside his home on Fowler Ave. near Morris Park Ave. in Morris Park just before 2 a.m. Saturday after calling 311 and the local NYPD precinct to complain about a parked gray Jeep SUV blocking his driveway, cops said.
Hughes, a native of the Virgin Islands known as “Dread” because of his long flowing dreadlocks, was arriving home from a DJ gig when he found the SUV blocking his driveway, leaving him nowhere to park.
Police initially said two gunmen shot Hughes during the clash over the SUV but now say Hughes — and his fiancée — were attacked by Lavar Davis and Davis’ girlfriend, Fallon Wise.
Davis and Wise were nabbed Saturday night at Wise’s home on Adee Ave. near Baker Ave. in Allerton, police said.
As Davis awaited arraignment in the shocking case, Wise appeared in Bronx Criminal Court on her 43rd birthday Monday, charged with assault and harassment of the slain man’s 47-year-old fiancée.
Wise punched the woman in the face and kicked her when she was down, leaving her with “multiple fractures to her face, including a fractured orbital bone, fractured nose and multiple fractured teeth,” according to a criminal complaint. The fiancée may need surgery on her orbital bone.
Prosecutors said Wise could also be charged with acting in concert for Hughes’ murder because she ran off with Davis from the scene and hid him in her home.

Footage from a doorbell camera viewed by the Daily News showed Hughes arguing with his accused killer outside his home just before the shooting.
“I don’t see the f—ing driveway! I don’t see that,” Davis says.
Davis allegedly blasted away at Hughes as he ran into his home for cover. The window to the victim’s front door was shattered and a bullet was found wedged in a wall inside the home, neighbors said.
Davis and Wise had returned to the illegally parked SUV from a notorious nightclub down the street when they got into the argument.
The DJ gig was a second job for Hughes, who also worked as a locksmith, a longtime friend said. He had four children, all of whom live out of state.
“He was very humble,” the friend said somberly. “He was like a brother to me.”
