Glenn Close refused to give Kim Kardashian acting advice on new project

All’s fair in love and showbiz.

Glenn Close, 78, has revealed that she refused to give Kim Kardashian, 44, advice on the set of their upcoming legal drama, “All’s Fair.”

The new series, produced by “Glee” and “American Horror Story” creator Ryan Murphy, sees Close and Kardashian starring alongside one another in the Hulu show.

“I was curious,” Close told Daily Mail on Monday about meeting and working with the SKIMS founder. “I couldn’t wait to meet her. I had never done a Ryan Murphy show before, which is a whole other universe, and I think she would be surprised at how I was. I had to find my feet.”

However, Close also admitted that she wouldn’t give Kardashian any acting advice as the former “American Horror Story: Delicate” star found her own footing on the set of “All’s Fair.”

“I would not presume to give Kim Kardashian advice,” she explained. “I think she’s a very, very brilliant woman. I think she could choose to do anything she wants.”

“Frankly, if she wants to be an actress, that’s one road,” Close continued. “But she could be. She’s a great executive. She’s a great businesswoman. She’s a very, very involved mother. She’s getting her law degree. So, I think she has huge potential and that she’s fulfilled already as a woman. And frankly, I will be fascinated to see what she chooses to do.”

Meanwhile, Close admitted that Kardashian inspired her to “experiment” with her fashion choices – even if Close wouldn’t offer up any advice of her own to the relatively new actress.

“I feel I can be myself, and I’m kind of experimenting now,” the three-time Emmy winner said. “I’m in a phase of life, especially after doing ‘All’s Fair’ and kind of seeing Kim’s different hairstyles every day. I’m thinking I want to do that.”

“So,” Close added, “I’m in a time where I want to find who else I am and work maybe with fashion a little bit more.”

As for Kardashian, she has admitted that she was “actually really nervous” about starring in the eight-episode legal series alongside Close.

“I’m nervous. I’m actually really nervous, because I have to bring it,” the mom of four said in a recent episode of “The Kardashians.”

“The second episode I have a huge scene, just me and Glenn Close, like a really important one.”

“We are talking about Cruella de Vil here,” Kardashian added. “I’m acting with Cruella de Vil.”

Close praised Kardashian further in an interview with Us Weekly published over the weekend following the pair’s “Fatal Attraction” pajama party at Kris Jenner’s Hidden Hills mansion.

“I arrived in my pajamas and my bathrobe at her mother’s house,” Close, who was nominated for an Oscar for “Fatal Attraction,” said. “We had fabulous martinis. It was really fun.”

“It came up that Kim had never seen ‘Fatal Attraction,’” she continued. “So we said we should all get together and have a pajama party and watch ‘Fatal Attraction,’ and watch Kim watching ‘Fatal Attraction.’ And we did.”

Besides Close and Kardashian, “All’s Fair” will star Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash and Teyana Taylor. The series will reportedly follow Kardashian’s character, Allura Grant, who is a successful divorce lawyer running an all-female law firm in Los Angeles.
