Gordon Ramsay slams menus catered to Mounjaro users

Gordon Ramsay never minces words.

The famous chef, 59, recently did an interview with The Sunday Times and had a sharp response to being asked if he’d modify his menus for people who have smaller appetites from taking weight-loss drugs like Ozempic or Mounjaro.

The interviewer who spoke to Ramsay specifically brought up how fellow British chef Heston Blumenthal launched a “mindful experience” reduced portion menu at one of his restaurants in the UK.

“That is absolute bullsh-t,” Ramsay replied. “There’s no f–king way we’re giving in to the Mounjaro jab.”

“The problem is with them [the diners] for eating too much in the first f—ing place!” the “Hell’s Kitchen” host argued. “There’s no way that we’re coming in with an Ozempic tasting menu to make you feel like less of a fat f–k by 10:30 in the evening.”

Ozempic and Mounjaro, both used to treat Type 2 diabetes, have become popular for weight loss due to reducing appetite, slowing digestion and lowering blood sugar.

Elsewhere in the interview, Ramsay shared his honest feelings about people — specifically influencers — using their phones at his restaurants.

“Bonheur will not be flooded with TikTokers,” Ramsay said about his new restaurant that he owns with his former protégé, Matt Abé. “F–king ring lights and posting about how good the food is.”

The entrepreneur stated that Americans have the worst dining etiquette “because they’re constantly taking f–king pictures with their flashlights on.”

Ramsay currently owns over 80 restaurants through his business empire, including Bread Street Kitchen and Bar in London, Gordon Ramsay Burger in Las Vegas and Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen in Atlantic City, NJ.

During an April appearance on “The Savoy Originals,” Ramsay revealed that he’s only had dinner at one of his restaurants twice in 25 years — once for his daughter Megan’s 16th birthday, and another time with Bradley Cooper.

“Because it’s not my style — it’s too posh for me!” he said. “It sounds weird right, you build the f—ing place. I can’t sit there.”

In March, Ramsay spoke to Forbes about being thrust in the spotlight thanks to his career.

“Fame. I hate that word fame. And I don’t use the word hate a lot,” he shared. “I didn’t choose to get famous, I chose to get busy. I chose to master my craft. I chose to continue sticking at it.”
