Guerschon Yabusele agrees to 2-year, $12M deal with Knicks: report

The Knicks have agreed to a two-year, $12 million deal with free agent center Guerschon Yabusele, ESPN’s Shams Charania is reporting.

The deal includes a player option, per Charania.

Yabusele, 29, started 43 games for the Philadelphia 76ers last season and averaged 14.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

The 6-8, 260-pound Frenchman was originally drafted 16th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft.

After two seasons in Boston where he barely saw the court, Yabusele returned to Europe after being waived by the Celtics on July 10, 2019. He returned to the NBA last summer when he signed a minimum contract with the Sixers in August 2024.

Yabusele won a silver medal in the Paris Summer Olympics last year as a member of Team France. He scored 20 points in 31 minutes against Team USA in the epic gold medal game.

Developing story, check back for details.
