Five people are dead following a shooting inside a midtown Manhattan office building on Monday, July 28, 2025, in New York City. The shooter opened fire inside 345 Park Ave. with an M-4 rifle, killing four people, including an NYPD officer, before shooting himself. Police identified the suspected gunman as 27-year-old Shane Tamura.
