Gunman opens fire on Long Island Expressway during wild Queens carjacking

A trio of armed suspects opened fire on the Long Island Expressway early Friday as they carjacked a BMW from two men driving through Queens, police said.

The masked thieves made off with the luxury car and the victims’ gold chains during the daring 3:45 a.m. roadside holdup, cops said.

The two victims, 33 and 31, were heading east on the LIE toward the Cross Island Parkway exit in Oakland Gardens when a Porsche SUV rear-ended them, cops said.

When the victims pulled over to assess the damage, the three masked men jumped out of the Porsche and pulled guns, police said.

One of the men fired two rounds in the air before demanding their jewelry and car, cops said.

The suspects fled in both vehicles, leaving the victims unharmed on the side of the road, according to officials.

No arrests have been made.
