Here’s how you can stream ‘Predator: Badlands’ at home

The latest installment in the “Predator” franchise is now available to stream at home.

“Predator: Badlands” dropped almost exactly two months ago in theaters; it topped the box office in its first weekend and went on to make over $184 million worldwide before debuting on digital.

“Badlands” was directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also directed the last two Hulu-exclusive entries in the “Predator” world, “Prey” and the animated “Predator: Killer of Killers.”

The new movie follows Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a young exiled Predator who crash-lands on a hostile planet and must prove himself worthy of the hunt by killing an apex predator. The hunt leads him to form an alliance with Thia (Elle Fanning, who plays Thia’s sister as well), a Weyland-Yutani Corporation (from “Alien”) android.

“Predator: Badlands” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $29.99 to buy or $24.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Predator: Badlands,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Predator: Badlands” whenever you want to.

Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.
