High Noon is recalling packages of vodka seltzer that were mislabeled as non-alcoholic Celsius energy drinks.
In a recall notice issued Wednesday, the company said some of its High Noon Beach Variety packs had been “mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition with a silver top,” but were inadvertently “filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol.”
The affected Celsius cans have a silver lid, instead of their typical black one, according to the FDA.
The canned cocktail maker said a “shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty CELSIUS cans to High Noon.” They company said only a “small batch” was affected but did not offer an exact case count.
The affected products were shipped to distributors in eight different states, who then shipped those products to retailers in New York, Florida, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin between July 21 and 23.
No injuries or illnesses have so far been reported as a result of the mix-up, though consumers are advised to dispose of any cans of Celsius Astro Vibe Sparkling Blue Razz Edition cans with the lot codes of L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11.
