Giddy up, H-Town.
The annual RodeoHouston returns to NRG Stadium from March 2-22 with a slate of jaw-dropping household-name headliners across genres as varied as country, pop, rock, reggaeton, faith-based and more.
Notable acts atop the impressive bill include original “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson, chart-topping hitmaker J Balvin, party-starter Lizzo, rapidly rising singer-songwriter Megan Moroney and “1883” star Tim McGraw.
They’ll be joined by Chris Stapleton, Rascal Flatts, Lainey Wilson, Creed and Forrest Frank among others.
Cody Johnson will close the festivities on March 22 with special guest opening acts Jon Pardi and Randy Houser. This is just the fourth non-rodeo, concert-only show in the extravaganza’s history.
In total, 21 acts — including nine that are making their Rodeo debut — are slated to rock the Texans’ home field this spring.
“We strive to bring Houston the very best in live entertainment, and the 2026 lineup raises that standard
once again,” said Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. “From
chart-topping newcomers to artists making their long-awaited return after nearly 20 years, this year’s
lineup is truly a reflection of both our Western roots and the vibrant footprint of the Houston community.”
But wait! There’s more!
On top of all the huge stars gracing the Space City’s stages, RodeoHouston also offers buckin’ broncos (they are a rodeo after all), competitive chili cookoffs, helpful career fairs, two-steppin’ dances, adventurous trail rides, impressive horse shows, tasty wine tastings, exciting rides, fun games and mouth-watering BBQ contests.

About the Houston Rodeo
Other than music and the rodeo (obviously), RodeoHouston offers a number of exciting activities as noted above.
The annual three-week affair, which has been going strong since 1932, also features time-honored favorites include the BBQ contest, trail rides, horse show, wine tastings and a carnival with rides, games and food as mentioned above.
There’s also the livestock show, calf scramble, auctions as well as many, many shopping and dining opportunities.
If that doesn’t sound like fun for the whole family, well, heck, we don’t know what is.

Huge concerts in 2026
While quite a bit of country is coming to Houston for the annual Rodeo (71% of the lineup is honky tonk), country music is heading, well, all over the country all year long, too.
